What Is Travel Professionals Skillnet?
Travel Professional Skillnet is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. funded under the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.
The ITAA Travel Professionals Skillnet (TPS) which launched in 2008, delivers a wide range of training programmes and courses, many accredited, all designed for the specific needs of the Irish Travel trade and as all courses are subsidised with Skillnet funding, there are highly competitive rates exclusive to the travel industry.
Following on from a new partnership with The Incoming Tour Operators Association (ITOA) in 2010, The Travel Professionals Skillnet is now also catering for the training needs of both the incoming and outgoing elements of The Travel and Tourism sectors in Ireland.
The Network’s long term strategy is to continue supporting ITAA members and travel affiliates in meeting their training and development needs to sustain competitiveness and growth in the travel sector.
