The Benefits of Membership
We are the representative organisation for the sector in Ireland and the Irish member of the European wide representation of the travel industry through ECTAA.
ITAA membership services include:
- Representation services – presenting our members’ views on a range of legal and commercial issues at national and EU level;
- Legal and other advisory services – assisting members to operate in a complex and heavily regulated sector and to anticipate changes in the way our sector will develop;
- Reducing costs of doing business – negotiating on behalf of our members to reduce the costs of overheads etc;
- Networking with suppliers - providing opportunities for travel professionals in Ireland to meet with the wide range of businesses from overseas with whom we need to work effectively;
- Promoting continuous professional development amongst our members – encouraging ever increasing levels of knowledge and expertise amongst our personnel through training programmes, certification initiatives, liaison with the formal education system etc…
